Trying felt pens for the first time in a long time. They’re a little easier to control, but make a weaker line. I’m still searching for my favorite inking tool.

I have noticed that it’s better to go to the shade rather than be blinded by the light.
Ah yes, and revolting against a corrupt government always put a better one in place. I mean look at soviet Russia, and nazi Germany. It is better to correct crimes and injustices in the current government than to try and replace it. Look at the black rights movement, they did things without violence.
You have a point, but if you think about Libyan civil war, you may notice that setting things simply by talking isn’t enough when the government has started to kill its citizens. Nonviolent resistance is ideal, but sometimes there simply isn’t enough time for it.
I agree there sometimes violence is the only way left. But did their empire actually try to kill the children or was that just one of the horrors of war? It has been know to happen even in U.S.A. History, I was tought what our own troops did in vietnam without orders to do so. If the empire ordered to kill everyone there I understand that revolution is the only way but if it was just a tragedy it could have been used to kickstart a non-violent revolution.
I guess that we get an answer for that question later in the comic.
Anyway, I think that blowing himself up (like Stephan did try to do) just to stop some rebels isn’t the best way to express yourself.
I have to agree, but I think they are not just some rebels. I have a feeling they have something big planned and he knows all about it.
I’d thought that since Stephan had his stuff stashed in a lifeboat, he was planning to escape. Doesn’t change the fact that he stuck around to defend his detonator, though. :/
I gotta agree with Mr. Ookami. Whatever they have planned, it’s big.
Meanwhile, on the Abyssinian… 🙁
It’s very cool to get more peeks at what makes their world tick.
( Do you think you’ll stick with the felt pens for a bit, despite them not being your favorites? )
I don’t know. I might give digital another try. I’m still experimenting with a lot of stuff to see what works.
Yay for experimentation! 🙂
