I hope you, and all my friends here, are having a Merry Christmas, Mark!
Some really good work in this strip! The panic on the guy’s face in panel 2, and the feeling of overpowering threat in panel 3 are particularly well done. For some non-obvious reason the threat from the goat in panel 3 is decidedly ‘immediate’ and close. Looking at it, he really pops off the screen at me! I say “non-obvious” because I see no tricks of lighting, etc. to make that happen. Well done, Mark! Looks like you’re either getting faster, or are just spending a lot of time on drawing. 🙂
Merry Christmas! Hope you had a good season.
As for panel 3, I think I drew the head and hand a bit too large which makes it look like I’m using a camera lens with a short focal length. Good for extreme close-ups.
I am putting a lot of work into these strips, but I’m improving bit by bit with each one too. Onward and upward to better things in the new year!
Is he possessed?
Hope you had a good Chrismastime, Mark, and maybe the sharp pain is enough to dispel the trance Mr. Goat is under… if that stab isn’t fatal.
The best holiday present, though, would be an error correction in the archive.
Aaah! My style really has changed since 2011. What error were you thinking needed correcting? IIRC neither of those characters was supposed to be Peter.
And it has changed for the better!
True, neither of them is Peter, but the comic page itself is the wrong upload on that webpage! It’s meant to be the one panel extra with April and Peter (with one of them facepalming)
