My landlord has recently sold the house I’m renting in, so I’m in the process of finding someplace new. It’s a big hassle but I’m hoping to find a new place to satay by the end of the month. Hopefully this will not impact the strip.
Also, I spent some time last week watching videos Catylin Vilbrandt posted of her drawing her Tamberlane comic. Very instructive, and I think I picked up a few new techniques. Also, check out her comic – it’s fantastic!

Minor question: Where’s the ship captain? I thought that was him in the blue jacket fussing about the unreported monster lurking in these waters. Now it’s some -soldier-(?) in a red jacket. I think I probably just misunderstood a change at some point. 🙂
The captain is still down by the docks. This is Harrod, Peter and a few soldiers who were carried to the island by the ship to meet with the supervisor.
Unfortunately, these fox characters all look pretty similar. I’m working on ways to distinguish them, but it’s tricky. Drawing recognizable unique fox faces consistently is still a little beyond my skill level.
No problem. I read too many comics (for me) and have trouble following characters anyway, especially secondary characters. 🙂 I guess Harrod was passing on the Captain’s complaint. 😉
