I got a new toy! It’s a Wacom Cintiq 12WX. I’ve been wanting one for a while, but putting it off. Well, I finally made the plunge. It’s small, but has really nice resolution. And it’s so much easier to draw when you can see the image under your hand.
I’m also using some new shading techniques here. I’m using a single mask for everything, rather than picking out individual shading colors by hand.
It’s ON! 😮
Sounds like your new Cintiq’s going to make drawing the comic a whole lot easier, especially after all of the experimenting you did with the different media. 🙂
