Got involved in another 24 hour comic contest. Those things are grueling, especially when you start hallucinating near the end. It does help a lot with your drawing and layout, though. You have to make a lot of decisions to get everything drawn reasonably and on time.
It is only a matter of time until one of them swallows a fly with their jaws on the ground like that. This does give their impression that they are still disorientated from the explosion.
They’ve eaten worse.
Man, I really hope this is one of three pieces of the surviving crew, rather than just the only one. 🙁

I’m a bit confused on the ending, though. Did he make amends with the crane? Is Terona the crane? Did Sorum become the crane?? Or is it just left up to interpretation? 😛
I was thinking along the lines of the crane was a spirit protecting Terona and keeping Sorum away from his girlfriend, and was playing out a clever ruse to lead Sorum to his death. But it was somewhat intentionally vague and somewhat genuinely vague. I’d been drawing for 24 hours straight at that point.
