I’m playing with the format again. I took the advice of an artist friend and bought some proper Bristol board to draw on. It is a lot easier to use that stuff than the sketch book pages I had used for my earlier hand drawn comics.
Also switching to dimensions that are the same as that of comic books. This is mostly so that I can max out the scanning area my scanner provides. It’s a lot easier to draw larger figures.
Now it’s hungry AND angry! At least Joel can run faster now that he’s gotten rid of all those stones. 😛
( Had you tried Bristol before? )
First time I’ve tried Bristol board. It’s a lot heavier than normal paper, so you can make a darker mark with lighter pressure. It also doesn’t lift and fold when you’re erasing on top of it, which is nice. A much nicer type of paper to draw on, IMHO.
