So, I’ve picked up a new card game recently – Race for the Galaxy. You work for the Galactic Imperium and go out taking possession of planets, either by settling them or taking them by force. The planets produce resources which allow you to do more settling and so on. There are lots of ways to win, so the challenge is in deciding on the optimal strategy given the cards you have. It’s a lot of fun.
Pesky vixens; always changing channels just when the game is gittin’ good!
Some guys can dish it out, but just can’t take it…
That does sound like a fun game!
Interesting to see the blue painted goat girl egging him on, with a Green player right beside her.
Funny juxtaposition between the fight and Joel getting rescued by April, Vixen power!
Judging from the number of players involved from previous pages we have roughly 5-6 players per side. We know there is at least one wicket per side, a defender (goalie), a center fielder, perhaps a mid-field, and/or a forward left and right field position and a Ref. (this does presume that anyone with the green/blue markings is playing the game.)
Joel here is playing the defender position and the green guy (Tom) would be a forward or center
It looks like a pretty neat game. It would be fun to know more about it, would be pretty cool to have more then one wicket per side and if each is 2 logs together, knocking one over is 1 point, both be 2 or perhaps both have to fall in order to score a goal. So many possibilities. 🙂
I was envisioning something like rugby, but where you knock over wickets instead of carrying the ball to the endzone. There’s only one wicket per team and usually 5 players per team, although each village has their own variation of the rules.
All of the players are wearing paint for their teams, and some of the fans are wearing the colors of their favorite team too. (Although it is an informal match, so they might just decide to jump into the game later.)
Anyhow, the rules aren’t being strictly enforced and all the players are pushing their luck to see what they can get away with.
Very poor choice of words there, April
April likes to shock.
Okay; so where’s Ruby in all this??
